Activities

Led by Eric Rankin, a FÁS team of around a dozen staff provide a fantastic, wide ranging menu of activities for patients of the hospital. Operating up to six days and evenings a week, the choices provided by the team include indoor quizzes, games, contests and excursions. For example, in May 2007, 133 separate social events were attended by 110 patients, with an overall total of 1243 attendances at the events.

The activities team play a huge role along with Volunteers, Friends and professional staff in making The Royal Hospital Donnybrook the special place that it is.
